Delina Baramulla, April 29: In the Grand Finale of the Ramzan Cup T10 Delina, Lions Cricket Club Delina defeated KCC Delina in a nail-biting encounter by 3 runs to clinch the trophy.
Batting first, Lions posted a healthy total of 89/6 on board in alloted 10 overs. Zahoor Gojree played a brilliant innings of 47 runs while as Ubaid Qureshi added valuable 14 runs to his name. Mudabir Nazir took 2 wickets for KCC.
In response, the match turned out to be a thriller and KCC Delina felt short of the target by just 3 runs (86/7 in 10 overs). Mudasir and Danish scored 19 and 16 runs respectively for KCC. Skipper Basharat took 2 wickets for Lions Delina.
Zahoor Gojree was declared as player of the match for his brilliant batting perfomance but he dedicated his award to Ikhlaq, who defended 10 runs for his team in the last over of the match.
Mir Muzamil was adjudged as player of the tournament for his brilliant all-round perfomance throughout the tournament.
