Ramiz Raja lashes out at Wasim Akram for unacceptable behaviour after Karachi Kings’ defeat

Former Pakistan Cricket Board Chairmain Ramiz Raja had lashed out at former Pakistan pacer and current Karachi Kings President Wasim Akram’s behavior, after Karachi lost a last-ball thriller to Multan Sultans on Wednesday.

Akram lost his cool and slammed the sofa, table in front of him in anger, after Kings fell short by three runs, while chasing 197.

“You can’t do anything while sitting outside. You have to back the players you have selected. You need to analyse things with a cool head. These gestures only create more frustration,” Raja said.

“Plus, it doesn’t look good in terms of optics, if you can’t control your temper, which is most important in this position, so it is better to be not in public view,” he added.

Karachi have now lost four of their five games in this season of HBL PSL. Three of these losses have been while chasing and falling short in the last over.
