The controlled knock of 67 runs from 49 balls by Asim lead Pampore Reds to a comfortable win against ACC Awantipora in the match of the 2nd T20 Super Cup Palhallan-2019 at Palhallan on June 30.
ACC Awantipora won the toss and decided to bat first. ACC Awantipora got off to a flying start, scoring 100 in 12 overs. But they lost their way with whole team getting all out for 137 runs in 19.4 overs.
Nisar scored 31 while as Sarjan contributed 22 runs. Aqib took 3 wickets for Pampore Reds while as Idrees and Nazir Tiger took 2 wickets each respectively.
In reply, Pampore Reds, lost opener Bilal in 2nd over. However from other side Asim played till 16th over and made sure victory for his team. Asim scored 67 of 49 balls while as Yasir contributed with 25 runs. They reached to target in 17.4 overs. Rayees took 2 wickets for ACC Awantipora. Asim was adjudged as man of the match for his brilliant knock.
