Srinagar: Pakistan young pacer Shahnawaz Dahani has requested his favourite cricketer, former India World Cup winning captain MS Dhoni to continue playing and keep entertaining his fans.
Taking to his Twitter handle while wishing MS Dhoni on his birthday , Dahani termed Chennai Super Kings skipper all time great entertainer.
“To one of the all times great entertainer & finisher, an inspiration and role model, I wish you a happy birthday sir @msdhoni,” Dahani tweeted with a picture of himself with Dhoni.
“And sir You are still young & fit enough to play cricket, so please keep entertaining us for atleast few more years,” he added.
Dahani, who was in the reserve players for the last year’s T20 World Cup, had met MS Dhoni following Pakistan’s win over India. Dhoni was the mentor of Indian side during T20 World Cup.
Dhoni had announced his retirement from International cricket in August 2020, though he still represents Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.
He represented India in 90 Tests, 350 ODIs and 98 T20Is.
