Srinagar: Pakistan cricket legend Javed Miandad has made a controversial statement suggesting Pakistan team not to travel to India for the Cricket World Cup 2023.
After India refused to travel to Pakistan for Asia Cup 2023, PCB and ACC agreed on a hybrid model with matches also to be played in Sri Lanka.
To this Javed Miandad has suggested that Pakistan should reciprocate by refusing to travel to India for the 2023 World Cup.
“If it was up to me I would simply refuse. It is India’s turn right now. We went there and now India are supposed to come and play cricket in Pakistan,” Miandad was quoted by media.
“If it was me, I would say get lost. We are better than them. Our cricket is better than them. We have enough money and grounds. We are producing talents that are making their name in the entire world,” he added.
