Srinagar, Oct 4: In the ongoing Noor Din Memorial T20 Cup Palhallan, Palpora Warriors defeated Star Bandipora in the match played in Sunday.
Batting first Palpora Warriors scored 128/7 in alloted 20 overs. Shahid scored sensible 51 while as Basharat contributed 20. Zubair took 2 wickets. Saqib, Mushtaq & Imtiyaz took 1 wickets each for Star Bandipora.
In reply Star Bandipora failed to chase the target of 128 runs. They were able to score only 104 runs.
Murtaza with 29 runs was highest scorer for them while as Bilal added 18 & Shahzad scored 17. Yousuf took 3 wickets for Palpora Warriors, while as Azad grabbed 2 wickets. Aqib and Tawseef took 1 each.
Azad was adjudged as man of the match for his all-round performance.
