Srinagar, March 10: The National and International Footballers Forum (NIFF) Jammu chapter on Wednesday called upon newly appointed Secretary J&K Sports Council.
“Executive Members of NIFF Jammu wing today met Secretary J&K Sports Council Nuzhat Gul in Council Secretariat M A Stadium Jammu,” NIFF statement said.
“The delegation congratulated Secretary SC for taking over the elite task of running sports in entire territory. Delegations members discussed various issues related to the game and also highlighted the issues of association and it’s functioning which are being faced by football fraternity,” It further said.
“Secretary SC after a patient hearing assured for all possible support from SC end and asked the members to come up with comprehensive plans for the betterment of the game accross J&K,” it added.
The delegation comprised of Ramesh Chander Ex International Footballer, Rajendra Abrol Former National Footballer, Virendra Chairman NGR Club, Amandeep Singh Ex International Footballer & Rajesh Sumbria Former National Footballer & Coach.
