Nifa Nusrat bags 3 golds and a silver as J&K win 10 medals in National Field Archery Championship

8th National Field Archery Championship: Nifa Nusrat bags 3 golds and a silver as J&K win 10 medals

Nifa Nusrat of RP School Anantnag bagged three golds and one silver medal as J&K bagged 10 medals in the 8th National Field Archery Championship at Chennai.

J&K Field Archery team shined in the 8th National championship that was organized by Field Archery Association of India by bagging 10 medals in the championship in Indian round bear bow.

Among J&K players, Nifa shined with three gold and one silver medal. Sehrish Hassan of Kashmir Harvard bagged one silver and one bronze medal. Similarly, Mehwish Sajjad bagged of Kashmir Harvard School bagged one bronze medal while as Quiab Sajjad of Green Valley Educational Institute bagged silver.

In boys category, Usmaan Hussain of GD Goenka School bagged silver in U-19 boys individual event, Suhaib Soleh Baba of Kashmir Harvard School and  Harim Khaki of Green Valley educational  Institute bagged bronze in team event.

The patron of the association Talat Parvez has congratulated the players and has also thanked Director Tourism Kashmir for sponsoring the team.
