Srinagar: J&K Under-19 girls team suffered massive 8-wicket defeat against Mumbai in the match of the Womens Under-19 T20 trophy tournament at Gokulbhai Somabhai Patel Stadium, Gujarat on Tuesday.
Batting first, J&K could manage only 59 runs all out in 16.2 overs.Aanvi Singh 14 not out was highest scorer for J&K. Nirmiti Rane took 6 wicket haul for Mumbai.
In reply, Mumbai achieved target in 6.2 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Shraddha scored 37 from 19 balls. Hurley Galey remained not out on 10 from 4 balls.
Earlier on Sunday, J&K had defeated Manipur by eight wickets. Manipur posted 84/6 in allotted overs. J&K achieved target in 15.2 overs for the loss of 2 wickets.
After playing four matches, J&K has suffered defeat in three and registered win in one. They stand at fifth place in the group of 6 teams in Group-F.
