Mehraj ud Din Wadoo appointed as coach of Nepal Super League side FC Chitwan 

Srinagar: The former India player and J&K Superstar footballer Mehraj ud Din Wadoo has been appointed as the head of the Nepal Super League side FC Chitwan.

Wadoo will be replacing Khalid Jamil with whom club has parted ways. Wadoo after having earlier parted ways with Mohammedan Sporting Club Kolkata was free agent and FC Chitwan soon after sacking Khalid , grabbed the opportunity to bring in Wadoo as the head coach. 

FC Chitwan is a Nepali professional franchise football club based in Bharatpur. The club competes in the Nepal Super League, the top flight football league in Nepal

The club was founded in March 2021 before start of Nepal Super League, the first ever franchise football league in Nepal under the control of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA). 

Mehraj ud Din Wadoo is reckoned highly in the coaching circles of India and recently attained the AFC Pro coaching  Licence. He had represented India in more than 35 matches and has also played in I-League for more than a decade. He also played in Indian Super League for several years before hanging his boots.

After retiring Wadoo, has bern active in coaching arena. He was head coach Sudeva FC, Real Kashmir FC and Mohammedan Sporting Kolkata in I-League.
