Srinagar, The medallists of World wing chun championship at Foshan, Amit Kumar and master Kartavya Gupta were given rousing welcome at Jammu Railway station.
Amit Kumar secured Gold and silver medal and Kartavya Verma secured Bronze medal
Both were selected for the championship during the selection trial held at KIC Meerut and on the basis of national championship.
Indian wushu team secured 09 medals comprising of 03 gold medals , Silver and 5 Bronze medals.
Both the players were given rousing reception at Jammu railway station by the enthusiasts wushuists.
Vijay saraf (President) General secretary Bhavneet vice president Ranjeet Kalra congratulated both the medalist’s for bringing laurels for the country and the UT J&k.
Dronacharya Kuldeep Handoo also congratulated the Indian wushu team for the feat .
He thanked Wushu Association of India, Sports authority of India and J&K sports council for supporting this combat sports. He congratulated coaches for the excellent job.
