Srinagar: Fresh from his exploits in longer format, J&K star cricketer Parvez Rasool has continued his rich form in 50 over format as well for Badureliya Sports Club, claiming his best List A cricket figures of six wikets in an innings vs Sinhalese Sports Club in the match of Major Clubs Limited Over Tournament at
Group B, Colombo (SSC) on December 13.
Parvez Rasool starred with the ball for Badureliya Sports Club against Sinhalese Sports Club that featured current Sri Lankan International Cricketers. With the help of six wicket haul from Parvez , Sinhalese Sports Club got all out for 267 run total in 49.2 overs.
Parvez Rasool claimed six wicket haul in 9.2 overs, giving away 45 runs. Nunwandu Fernando with 77 run knock was highest scorer for them while as Krishna Sanjula scored 57 and Avishka Fernando 56.
In reply Badureliya Sports Club got all out for 253 run total in 49.1 overs and lost match by 14 runs. Ranesh Silva scored 113 run knock for them while as Parvez Rasool scored 27.
Match featured Sri Lanka international stars from both the sides.
As per Parvez, he is not playing the league for money as that is almost negligible but to play quality cricket.
