
Srinagar, June 16: After appointing a 3-member sub-committee to look into the affairs of J&K Cricket Association (JKCA), the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Wednesday said Majid Dar, a former cricketer, will look into the development of cricket in Srinagar.
He has been asked to handle things in Srinagar and report to the sub-committee, comprising of Brigadier Anil Gupta, Sunil Sethi and Mithun Manhas.
Kashmir Sports Watch Tuesday exclusively reported that BCCI has formed a 3-member committee to monitor JKCA. Now, the cricket board has put out a press release, naming the committee and further mentioning Majid Dar’s name.
Dar, a fromer Ranji Trophy cricketer, has been a part of J&K’s coaching set-up in the past as well.
