Laigaroo hails cyclist Akber Khan

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) youth wing secretary and sports promoter Arif Laigaroo has hailed cyclist Muhammad Akber Khan for shining in the Hoshiarpur Cyclothon organized by District Administration Hoshiarpur, Punjab.

International cyclist of Kashmir, Akber Khan finished fourth in the event that saw 178 riders from all over country participating in it.

While hailing Akber, Laigaroo said, “He is pride of Kashmir. He has been making us proud at national level from last many years. Apart from his individual performance through which he has made name for himself he has also been involved in the development of the sport at grass root level. Due to his efforts we have large number of cyclists who are excelling at national level”.

“I congratulate him for the win and hope that he continues to shine in same way in upcoming events,” he added.
