Srinagar: Kashmir Mountain Biking Association (KMBA) has successfully conducted a cycling expedition from Dalgate Srinagar to MA Stadium Jammu.
A total of 12 cyclists participated in the ride. The participating cyclist include Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, Fahim Ali, Natiq Nazir, Nasir Hussain, A.R Bhat, Peer Mukhtar, Abdul Aziz, Tafazul Rasool, Javaid Masoodi, Saqib Lateef, Waseem Ahmad and Shoib Shabir. The ride was full of enthusiasm testing endurance and patience of players while going up and down hills covering a total distance of 260 kilometres.The expedition started at 06:00 AM from Dalgate Srinagar and the cyclist reached Jammu at 09:00 PM in the evening.
The cyclists were felicitated with certificates and Medals in presence of Chief Guest Sheikh Shabir Ahmad, Founder Xtreme OffRoaders Kashmir and Jalal Jeelani (Earth Journalist/ Avid Trekker).
The cyclists thanked the President of Kashmir Mountain Biking Association for wonderful arrangements during the whole ride and expressed their best wishes for future events.
