Kashmir Youth Football Championship: Owais leads Sanctorum FA to a solid win over Budgam FA

Srinagar, Nov 17: In the ongoing Kashmir Youth Football Championship held at Bakshi Stadium Srinagar, today Sanctorum Football Academy registered a solid win over Budgam Football Academy by a margin of 1:0

As both the teams took the field , Sanctorum FA wasted no time to show their dominance over Budgam FA as Owais Zahoor’s magical touch helped Sanctorum to take a early lead of 1:0 in the first 10 minutes of the game. Players from both sides played an attacking game and created opportunities at regular intervals for their team in the first half.

In the second half, both the teams got ample opportunities to score goals but owing to some brilliant defence from the defenders, the second half ended without a goal being scored. Sanctorum FA riding on first half’s lead managed to register the victory by a margin of 1:0 .

Owais Zahoor was adjudged as player of the match for his electric performance in the match.

The tournament is being organised by Punit Balan Group and a total of 16 teams of boys and 6 teams of girls are participating in the tournament.
