Srinagar: Samiullah Dar, a 25-year-old Kashmiri fast bowler, on Monday joined Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) pre-IPL camp as a net bowler at Kolkata, KSW has learnt.
The right-arm pacer was among the highest wicket-takers in JKCA’s Domestic One-Day Tourney at Srinagar this year but hasn’t represented the state at any level yet.
KKR franchise seems to have spotted Samiullah and has asked him to bowl in the pre-IPL camp, which is currently taking place at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
The Srinagar-born cricketer will bowl to KKR players in the nets and get to learn from some of the best minds in the game.
