Auqib Nabi led Team B registered a dominant win over Shubham Pundir’s Team D in the second match of the ongoing JKCA T20 trial matches at the Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium, thanks to a solid knock from Qamran Iqbal and a fiery bowling performance led by Tahir Bhat.
Batting first, Team B posted a total of 159, with Qamran scoring between 60 and 70 runs in a fluent innings. He was supported by Yawar, who added a handy 30 runs. Among the bowlers for Team D, Mujtaba Yousuf and Umran Malik picked up two wickets each.
In reply, Team D struggled to get going and were bundled out for just around 80 runs. Abid Mushtaq was the only notable contributor with a score in the 30s. Team B’s bowling unit was relentless, with Tahir Bhat picking up three wickets, while Auqib Nabi and Sachdev Singh claimed two apiece.

The JKCA T20 trials, which began today, will continue till July 8 and feature players who were shortlisted through open trials held across both Jammu and Kashmir divisions.
