J&K Cricket Association (JKCA) has started the process of holding a mega T20 cricket tournament across the State, next month.
JKCA has started preparations for the mega event. Recently JKCA Chief Executive Officer, Syed Ashqiue Bukhari had made the announcement and started contacting clubs, university, colleges, and schools for registration.
“It will be the biggest cricket tournament in J&K which will involved cricket teams in the whole State. There will be two different tournaments played simultaneously in both provinces of State,” said JKCA official.
“We have started to contact, all colleges, universities and prominent schools for registration. Apart from that we are inviting all the interested clubs in State to be part of this mega T20 tournament. There are no set conditions to be part of this tournament as JKCA intends to give every a chance to be part of cricket bonanza,” he said.
He said that event is likely going to be held next month at various venues in both provinces.
“There is no set date yet fixed for the event but most likely it will be held next month. The event is likely going to be titled J&K Premier League (JKPL),” he added.
