Batters Jameel Nazir and Nadeem Dar scored in nineties while Sharukh Dar picked three wickets on the day two of ongoing JKCA Senior Multi-Days at SK Stadium, Srinagar.
In Ground B, after the first day was called off due to wet outfield, the play finally began this morning. Team B2 (Waseem Raza) won the toss and chose to field first.
However, Team B1 batted well and had put on a score of 266/4 at the time this report was filed. Jameel Nazir was the highest run-getter with 96 runs to his name. Yawar Hassan also made 79 for Team B1 (Fazil Rashid).
For Waseem Raza’s side, he himself and Irfan-ul-Haq picked two wickets each.
In the other match Ground A, resuming on overnight score of 46/2, Team B4 (Umar Nissar) scored 225 runs in reponse Team B5’s paltry 110 runs.
It was Nadeem Dar who wielded the willow for Team B4, making 93.
In second innings, Team B5 (Parvez Rasool) already lost five wickets at the score of 85 with Sharukh Dar picking 3 wickets.
