Abdul Samad, Henan Malik and Fazil Rashid are set to lead the three teams in the upcoming JKCA Senior trial matches, which are starting from Saturday (June 17) at GGM Science College Ground, Jammu.
Samad will lead the Team Red while Henan will be in charge of Team Blue and Fazil Rashid will captain the Team Green.
Earlier, JKCA had announced a 45-member list for these trial matches and now these players have been distributed into three teams. Each team will play four one-day (50 over) matches in the span of 10 days.
Qamran Iqbal, Umran Malik, Sharukh Dar, Yudhvir Singh and Avinash Singh, who were part of the initial list, are unlikely to take part in these matches. While Sharukh Dar and Qamran Iqbal were injured last season and are believed to be still recovering, there is no info on why the rest of the three won’t be available.
