JKCA’s Senior Multi-Day tourney got underway this morning (Friday) at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium, Srinagar. However, only one match could start because of the rain and wet outfield.
Team B4 (Umar Nissar) won the toss and opted to field first against Team B5 (Parvez Rasool) at Ground A. The overcast conditions made it a bit tough for batters while bowlers enjoyed bowling with the new ball.

Umar Nissar’s side started off pretty well as they removed as many as 4 wickets in 29 overs before rain halted the play. It was Sharukh Dar who picked up a couple of wickets while Omer Nabi and Shahnawaz Bashir shared took a wicket each.
For Team B5, Parvez Rasool and Younis Dagga were at the crease with the scorecard reading 83/4.
In Ground B, the match between Team B1 (Fazil Rashid) and Team B2 (Waseem Raza) couldn’t start as a lot of rain had accumulated on the ground.
There is less possibility of any further play to take place today since it is continuously raining in Srinagar.
