JKCA names 22 players for Ranji Trophy camp

Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) on Thursday named a 22-member list for the upcoming Ranji Trophy trial camp.

The camp will be jointly held for U-23 and senior group from December 20th at Jammu. Shortlisted players from both categories will initially hold net sessions before playing a couple of multi-day practice matches.

The final team will be announced by 30th December. J&K failed miserably in both Vijay Hazare and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy this season. But all the players who were part of these two squads have been retained.

However, there are a few additions including that of left-handed batter Jiyaad Magrey and fast-bowler Waseem Bashir. Rest of the players were part of earlier camps as well.
