JKCA Multi-Day Trials: Vivrant takes 7 wickets, Samad, Khajuria score in nineties

Vivrant Sharma on Monday wreaked havoc with the ball, scalping as many as seven wickets while playing for Team ‘B’ which is being led by Abid Mushtaq in the ongoing first multi-day trial match at GGM Science College Ground, Jammu.

Abdul Samad and Shubham Khajuria also scored in the nineties for Team ‘A’– the team led by Khajuria.

Earlier, batting first Shubham Khajuria’s team put on a total of around 340 runs. Apart from Samad and Khajuria, Auqib Nabi also made over 40 runs batting in the lower order.

For Abid Mustaq’s team, Vivrant picked up 7 wickets while Rasikh Salam scalped two and Nasir Lone one wicket.

In reply at the end of day one’s stumps, Abid Mushtaq’s team lost three wickets in the form of Qamran Iqbal, Abhinav Puri and Henan Nazir. For Khajuria’s side, Auqib Nabi, Sunil Kumar and Umar Nazir took a solitary wicket each.

The day-two will resume tomorrow with Vivrant and Musaif batting for Team B.
