JKCA appoints former Indian cricketer as head coach: Report

Srinagar, September 28: Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has appointed former Indian cricketer, Sanjeev Sharma, as head coach of senior men’s team, as per a report in Daily Excelsior.

Sharma has been a part of several coaching gigs at national and international level. He was previously associated with Rajasthan, Delhi, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh teams apart from spending five years at National Cricket Academy (NCA) and coaching Thailand cricket team.

Earlier, JKCA roped in Nishanta Bardoloi as Performance and Strengthening coach as well.

Meanwhile, the fitness camp for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy probables began on Monday at Jammu.
