JKCA again leaves out top peformers for Vijay Hazare Trophy camp

Following the trend, JKCA has again left out top performers of trial matches like Taizeem Tak, Anshul Pandita, Tahir Bhat and Imtiyaz Ganai for the ongoing camp for the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

At the start of the season, JKCA held one-day trial matches in both the Jammu and Kashmir provinces, where all these players did quite well.

The left-arm spin duo from Kashmir, Imtiyaz Ahmad and Taizeem Tak, fast bowler Tahir Bhat and batter Anshul Pandita had all performed well in those matches. Still, none of them were picked for any of the three squads: Ranji, Syed Mushtaq Ali and now in Vijay Hazare Trophy as well.

However, players like Shubham Pundir Shivansh Sharma and Sahil Lotra, who have consistently failed in the past, continue to feature in the squad.

JKCA is currently holding a camp in Jammu ahead of the Vijay Hazare Trophy and 19 players are part of it. A final squad of 15 players will picked for the one-day tournament in the coming few days.
