J&K U-23 women team suffer 5th defeat

Chhattisgarh defeated J&K by 4 wickets in the match of the Under-23 Women’s One Day tournament at Rajkot on Thursday, March 28.

It is 5th defeat for the J&K team in the One Day tournament out of six matches played.

Batting first JK got bundled out for 123 runs in 48.4 overs. Nadia Chowdhary scored unbeaten 34 for JK, Iqra Rasool scored 17, Irfana Ahad scored 15 and Tanisha Sharma scored 10. For Chhattisgarh, Manpreet Kaur and Shraddha Vaishnava took 3 wickets each.

In reply, Chhattisgarh got to target for the loss of 6 wickets in 38.1 overs. Manpreet Kaur with 50 was highest scorer for them, Shivani Krishna scored 21. For J&K, Bismah Hassan took 3 wickets, Sadiya Wani took 2 and Shanum Rashid 1.
