J&K thrash Daman and Diu 11-0 in Sub Junior Boys’ National Football Championship

Srinagar: Continuing its brilliant run, J&K sub-junior boys on Thursday thrashed Daman and Diu by 11-0 in the match of Sub Junior Boys’ National Football Championship 2023-24 at RDT Sports Village Ground 2.

Daman and Diu that had conceded 39 goals in previous 3 matches went on to concede further 11 goals to make it 50 goals in 4 matches.

J&K, from the start put pressure on Daman and Diu. Saab ibn Bilal scored first goal in 6th minute, Sakib Showkat scored 2nd in 9th minute. Sakib scored 3rd in 14th minute and Mohsin Hussain scored 4th in 15th minute. Saab scored 5th goal in 27th minute and Sakib scored 6th goal in 28th minute. Malik Usman Mehmood scored 7th goal in 30th minute and Sakib made it 8-0 in 32nd minute. Misbah ul Haq made it 9-0 in 34th minute. Misbah scored 10th goal for J&K in 41st minute. In the 59th minute, Sakib scored 11tg goal for J&K.

Sakib for 5 goals was awarded player of the match award.

J&K so far have won three matches out of four matches played and stand at second place in group d while as Delhi stand at top either four out of four wins.
