Srinagar : After conducting selection trials successfully the State squad for the 25th Sub-Junior National Baseball Championship was selected on Saturday at Bakhshi Stadium, Srinagar by the screening committee of J&K State Sports Council Divisional Sports Officer Kashmir besides two members of the council Prof. BA Shah and Rauf Ahmad Tramboo .
The state contingent comprising 32 players of both boys and girls teams and 4 officials selected for the said tour will represent the state at the Kerala under the banner of J&K State Sports Council in the last week of this year, 2016.
The players for J&K were selected through a screening committee conducted by J&K State Sports Council in both the boys and girls category. The players selected are drawn from both the provinces of the state. The said championship is being organized by the Kerala Baseball Association under the auspices of Amateur Baseball Federation of India.
