Jammu and Kashmir on Friday pipped Punjab by 3 runs in the fourth T20 practice match at SK Stadium Srinagar to level the series 2-2.
Chasing a target of 180 runs, Punjab started off steadily but then launched their attack after 10 overs. The match ended in a thriller with J&K having the last laugh.
Punjab ended up making 176-5 in the allotted 20 overs. Almolpreet Singh (55) and Gurkeerat Singh Mann (53) were the top run-scorers.
For J&K, Umran Malik, who was playing his first match of the series, picked up two wickets. All-rounder Auqib Nabi also finished a couple of wickets to his name.
Earlier, Vivrant Sharma and Abdul Samad hit fifties for J&K in the first innings. J&K lost the first two matches but then made a good returning, winning the last two games.
