J&K Bank lifts 2nd Positive Kashmir football tournament title

Srinagar: J&K Bank FC emerged winner in tbe 2nd Positive Kashmir football championship defeating FC 1 in the final played at TRC Turf Stadium Srinagar on Saturday. The event was being organised by the Positive Kashmir (NGO).
In the event, 24 teams played on a knockout basis with JK BANK and FC 1 contesting in the finals.
JK BANK got the lead early in the first half via Furqan Zargar who finished spectacularly giving his team the lead.
In the second half FC One played very spectacular football exhilarating the spectators who were cheering them on but were unable to score an equaliser despite coming close many times.
Furqan of JK BANK was the man of the match.

The event was attended by various dignitaries as well. Div. Com. Kashmir P.K. Pole, IG BSF Raja Babu, DGM Law JK BANK Saadat Hussain, Mentor Positive Kashmir Bharat Rawat and Zahoor Mir Director HK group.
The prize ceremony was overseen by Div Com PK Pole with winners JK BANK receiving a cash prize of 1 lakh & runner ups FC One receiving a cash prize of 50 thousand.
Shafqat of FC one was adjudged both, man of the series and the top scorer of the tournament for his contribution in FC One’s road to final and Furqan of FC One was adjudged as the best goal keeper for the performances he put in during the tournament.
