Ispe koi baat hui nahi hai: Mohammad Yousuf on Pakistan opening pair

Srinagar: Former Pakistan cricketer and current batting coach Mohammad Yousuf has said that there is no talk or discussion on changing Pakistan opening pair of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan.

Yousuf said this following Tuesday’s loss to New Zealand in Christchurch, while addressing the media.

“Ye 1.5-2 saal se ye hi pair chal raha hai. Ispe koi baat hui nahi hai, aur hone bhi nahi chahiye. World Cup kareeb hai, iss tarah ka chance lena mushkil hai. Pehle match me Rizwan man of the match tha, doosre match me Babar tha. Change karne ka koi question nazar aa nahi raha. (For the previous two years, we’ve had the same opening duo. We never discussed the topic of switching partners, nor should we. It’s hard to take a gamble now when the World Cup is so close. In the first game, Mohammad Rizwan was awarded player of the match award, while Babar took the award in the second game. There’s no way to switch the couple up),” Mohammad Yousuf said.
