Srinagar: Kashmir pacer Rasikh Salam has continued his resurgence in the IPL 2024 for Delhi Capitals as they are locking horns with Rajasthan Royals.
After hitting Trent Boult for consecutive boundaries with the bat while batting, Rasikh Salam getting ball into the hands deceived Riyan Parag with beautifull slower one.
Rasikh castled Riyan Parag with a beauty to give Delhi Capitals a much-needed breakthrough in their ongoing game against Rajasthan Royals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Chasing 222 runs, the Royals were cruising at 103 for 2 in the 11th over with captain Sanju Samson and Parag well set. Parag joined Samson in the middle in the sixth over when Axar Patel dismissed Jos Buttler to reduce RR to 67 for 2.
Samson and Parag then took the score past the 100-run mark. Parag started positively and had raced away to 27 runs with the help of one four and three sixes before Rasikh Salam sent him back in the 11th over. On the final ball of the over, the right-arm bowler outfoxed the Royals star with a slower delivery.
It was a back-of-the-hand slower delivery that managed to beat Parag’s bat swing before going on to hit the top of the off stump. Parag went for a pull shot but played a bit early as the slower ball went past his bat and hit the top of the off stump.
Watch as Rasikh Salam castles Riyan Parag:

After having gone wicketless since his IPL debut and playing for three franchisees, Rasikh has seen a resurgence that has led him to get wickets continiously in last four matches.
