Ignored by JKCA, 2 J&K Cricketers bag ILT20 chance in UAE

Srinagar: Having been ignored by J&K Cricket Association over the years, two J&K Cricketers Usman Pandit and Muhammad Shadad have bagged a golden ticket for the International League T20 (ILT20) in UAE.

The duo of Usman Pandit and Muhammad Shadad have been picked in the International League T20 (ILT20) developmental squads, boosting their chances of becoming the first Kashmiri players to play in this international league.

Both had earlier attempted to play for J&K, but after JKCA regularly ignored them, they shifted their base to UAE. Usman has been named in the Desert Vipers’ squad while Shadad is in the Knight Riders’ squad.
