Frustrated with the defeat, Chennai City FC coach Akber Nawas walked away from the post match media conference terming it one sided media coverage.

Asked about how he feels Real continuing to dominate his side, Akber said then you haven’t watched game and you are biased media with no eye to watch Chennai City play.

Real Kashmir FC coach David Robertson, delighted with the outcome of the match thanked the fans for the support.

“It was really tough to see first two games getting postponed. We were all excited about this game, and we always knew that fans will come out for the support and will back us fully. They did and you saw how team reacted in the middle,” David said.

About the lack of Internet in Kashmir, Real Kashmir FC coach said that he isn’t qualified to answer that question but he has not found it tough to live in that.

“I am not qualified to reply to that question. I am footballer and I play footballer and see my team playing. These boys are resilient to overcome any adversity. They have desire to succeed and when they wear this badge (Real Kashmir) on their chest they are altogether a different people,” coach said. “I have been here for three years and initially it was difficult but I persisted and it has been an honor to be in Kashmir and being associated with Real Kashmir. I everyday speak to my wife, family and also my son is here. It has been so difficult”.

Asked about the fight shown by Chennai City in second half, he said, “Not surprised by all. They are top side and are defending champions. We knew they will come harder in second half and they did so. We are delighted with the outcome”.

“It is first win of season for us and that too against top side. Out of three games we have got five points and yet to suffer defeat. It has been three years and we haven’t lost a game away from home. We will look to continue that as away games are important,” he said.

Real Kashmir FC local player Danish Bhat who was named man of the match said that Real Kashmir FC is more focused this season as everyone looks at them.

“We have trained for four months both in J&K and outside. Last year we were new and this year we are now a established side. It is getting more exciting as teams are taking us seriously and are coming out harder at us. Also we have to keep momentum going and don’t lose our focus,” Danish said.

BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav and Advisor to J&K Governor Farooq Khan were present during the match. Apart from them there were number of guests from Police and Administration present. However, there was no one from J&K Football Association.
