Shubham Khajuria is one of the known names of J&K cricket team though when it comes to T20s, the opener hasn’t made any influence as he strikes under 95.
There is no denying that he owns considerably good numbers in First-class and List-A cricket but nevertheless, his numbers are not not even average in the shortest format if the game.
In the 14 matches he has played, the right-handed batsman owns 259 runs at an average of 19.9 and strikes at cruddy 95.22. For T20 cricket, team needs an opener who can make most of the first powerplay and hence help in posting big totals.
Khajuria has failed to do so in previous few seasons, so considering him for T20s, just because he is good in longer version of game means injustice done to the batsmen who are good at playing this format.
