Srinagar, January 22: Indian pacer Harshal Patel and South African veteran spinner Imran Tahir are among the 49 players who have set the maximum base price of 2 crore for the upcoming IPL Auction, which is set to take place on February 12 and 13.
Patel has impressed one and all with his medium pace bowling in the last two seasons of IPL. He dominated the wickets column, taking wickets upfront and in the death as well. Imran Tahir, who retired from international cricket, has also had good outings in whatever opportunities he was provided at the IPL.
