Srinagar, September 26: Downtown Heroes have booked place in the final of the GVEI Invitational football cup by winning its semifinal played at GVEI Ground Srinagar on Sunday, September 26.
In the semifinal Downtown Heroes FC clashed with Ali Jana FC. The 27th minute strike from foreign recruite Frank of Downtown Heroes FC turned out as difference between the teams. It was the only goal scored in the match. Downtown Heroes won match by 1-0 and booked place in final.
Frank was declared player of the match for scoring the only goal of the match which led to their victory.
