Doda, June 24: In one of the rarest of the rare feats in the Cricket, a bowler from Kishtwar has bagged perfect 10 ( all 10 wickets in an inning) to help his team to a huge 200 run win in the 15th Gufran Memorial T20 tournament match at Doda on June 24.
Playing for Kishtwar Warriors, Ashraf Rather took all the 10 wickets in his three overs that also included a hat trick to bundle out opposite side for the 18 runs in 5 overs.
During day two match matches were played in which Kishtwar Warriors and Doda Warriors registered convincing wins against their opponents at Sports Stadium Doda.
In the first match between Kishtwar Warriors and Kings 11 Kulhand. Batting first after winning the toss, Kishtwar Warriors set a good total of 218 runs in alloted 20 overs game by loosing their 05 wickets. Saleem Sheikh top scored with 86 runs while Qazi Burhan contributed 49 runs for the team. From the bowling side, Chambail Singh grabbed 03 wickets while Anil Sharma and Zakir Hussain shared 01 wicket.
In reply, while chasing down the given target, team Kings 11 Kulhand was bundled out for partly 18 runs in 05 overs thus by lost the match at a huge margin of 200 runs as none of their batsmen showed much resistance against the disciplined bowling bowled by Ashraf Rather who grabbed all the 10 wickets in his 3 overs that included a hat trick. Ashraf Rather was declared as Man of the Match.
In second match, which was played between Doda Warriors and Chiralla Cricket Club. Earlier batting first after winning the toss, CCC team scored a modest total of 73 runs for the loss of all their wickets in 13.2 overs. Ranjeet Singh top scored with 16 runs while Amit Rajan contributed 12 runs to the total. From the bowling side, Vinay grabbed 03 wickets while Saqib Hussain and Sonu Sharma took 02 wickets to each.
In reply, Doda Warriors chased the target easily in 09 overs by loosing their 04 wickets, thus by won the match by 06 wickets. Dinesh Chandail was the highest scorer who scored 32 runs while Nayeem Malik contributed 12 runs to the total. From bowling side, Anoop Singh and Ranjeet Singh shared 02 wickets each.
Later on, Vinay of Doda Warriors team was declared as Man of the Match for his best all bowling performance who was given prize by Gen Sec YSCC Doda Faizan Ali Tramboo Butt along with Chief Organizer Irfan Ali Batt.
