Srinagar, Sep 13: In the ongoing Green Willow Inter Village Cricket Championship 2020 Palhallan, Manchester Blues defeated Chukar Royals by eight wickets on Sunday.
Earlier Chukar Royals won the toss and decided to bat first. Openers gave them flying start scoring 85 runs in first 10 overs. It was skipper Tanveer who took charge of bowling taking 5 wickets in his spell helping his side to bundle out Chukar Royals for 147 runs. Ishfaq scored 47 while Urfeen contributed 43 runs. Tanveer took fifer for his team.
In reply , Manchester Blues Pattan batters thrashed bowlers of Chukar Royals and chased down the target in 18.3 overs. Mohsin Scored unbeaten 57 & Faizan added 52 runs in teams chase. Irshad & Ishfaq took 1 wicket each for Chukar Royals.
Tanveer skipper was adjudged Man of the match for taking five wicket haul.
