Srinagar: Ghani glider’s sports club has hailed its junior cricketers for shining in School Games cricket nationals.
Tanzeer Nazir Bhat and Sameer Shabir Bhat played two consecutive National Under-19 and Under-17 events.
They both played first National at Telangana, Stadium, Warangal stadium Dated: 15-10-2016 Under-19 when the situation of Kashmir was not good. Tanzeer took Hat Trick against UP and Sameer took 2 wickets against Haryana. However, they got defeated in semi final against Delhi. J&K got third place in the event.
The duo is in Mumbai playing in Under-17 event at Mumbai Gymkhana police stadium. In first match between J&K and UP, Tanzer took one wicket and scored unbeaten 20 runs while as Sameer took one wicket but they loss match.
In the second match, J&K was against Haryana in which Sameer took 2 wickets and Tanzeer took one.
Ghani Gliders sports club owner, Tariq Rashid Ghani hailed both the players and termed them future stars of JK cricket.
