Football fraternity lead by J&K Football Association has consoled the demise of the former footballer Fayaz Ahmad Mir who passed away on June 17-2020, Wednesday.
Fayaz Ahmad Mir who hailed from Waniyar Srinagar passed away on Wednesday. He played for clubs like Friends Jamalata Club, later played for KMD Mohammedan Sports and J&K Police Team of J&K.
He participated in many Tournaments like Durand Cup, Santosh Trophy, Federation Cup, Sheri Kashmir Gold Cup, All India Police Meet & other major Tournaments of the Country and earned a name for himself.
