J&K Water Sport team shined again at national level by bagging two medals on the second day of the Senior National Federation Cup In Chandigarh.
In the Federation only top eight teams of Country participate on the basis of their ranking in senior national championship. J&K on the basis of its rankings had qualified for the event and fielded 23 member men’s team. J&K is participating in four events and out of them they have already bagged medals in two events.
J&K bagged gold medal in 200-metre dragon boat race while as bagged bronze in dragon boat 500-metre race. In the competition for gold medal in 200-metre dragon, J&K defeated Indian Navy team in a thrilling finish. J&K is in contention for one more medal in Canoe Polo that is yet to be held.
