FC1 to clash with STFC in final of Police Memorial Football Tournament 

Srinagar: Cementing once again its place as the top local private football club of J&K, FC1 cruised its way into the final of the 19th J&K Police Martyrs Memorial Football Tournament 2023 on Sunday.

In the final, the schedule of which is yet to be announced, FC1 will be clashing with STFC Natipora.

On Sunday, two semifinals of the tournament were played. In the first match of the day, FC1 beat J&K Bank by 4-3 in penalties. In the allotted time both teams had scored one goal each. Furqan of FC1 was awarded player of the match.

In the second match of the day, STFC Natipora beat Downtown FC by 2-1. Shayik Rasool of STFC was awarded player of the match. The match was played late under lights with STFC Natipora giving its huge fan base who had thronged to venue in large nunbers a moment to cherish by cruising into the final.
