Drew McIntyre Smashes Cody Rhodes Through a Table Ahead of WWE Title Clash

Drew McIntyre made a brutal statement ahead of his Undisputed WWE Championship match, driving Cody Rhodes through a table after announcing a new stipulation for their upcoming showdown at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The shocking attack capped off an action-packed night featuring title defenses, fierce rivalries, and dramatic confrontations across the WWE roster.

In one of the night’s standout matches, United States Champion Ilja Dragunov successfully defended his title against Nathan Frazer. The intense encounter saw both men deliver high-impact offense—Frazer connected with a Phoenix Splash and a vicious dropkick into the steel steps, but Dragunov powered back with a devastating H-Bomb to seal the win. After the match, Tommaso Ciampa blindsided Frazer, reigniting tensions between the two.

Elsewhere, Carmelo Hayes overcame Kit Wilson in a hard-fought battle. Despite interference from The Miz, who ambushed Hayes mid-match, the former NXT Champion rallied to hit his First 48 finisher and secure the victory. However, The A-Lister struck again post-match, continuing his ruthless attacks on Hayes.

The women’s division delivered fireworks as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Alexa Bliss defeated Nia Jax in a heated encounter. Jax dominated early, tossing Bliss into the barricade and landing a Samoan Drop. But after Charlotte Flair distracted Jax, Bliss capitalized with a dropkick and quick roll-up to score the upset win.

Tensions also escalated in the tag team division as The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) faced JC Mateo & Tama Tonga. Despite their trademark chemistry, a timely distraction from Solo Sikoa allowed Tonga to hit the Cutthroat on Sabin for the win. After the match, The MFTs launched a vicious assault, but reinforcements Rey Fenix and Shinsuke Nakamura arrived—only to be overwhelmed in a shocking post-match beatdown.

With McIntyre’s brutal message to Rhodes and multiple rivalries heating up, WWE fans can expect explosive fallout heading into Saturday Night’s Main Event.
