Srinagar, November 10: The old city Srinagar based newly formed professional football club Downtown Heroes FC got off to a wining start in the Doon Knockout Football tournament at Doon International School on Tuesday.
In the match Downtown Heroes FC were against Solina FC. Downtown Heroes emerged winner by 2-1 goals.
Abid Mushtaq ans Shahmeer were the goal scorers for Downtown Heroes.
The match was dominated by Heroes and they should have scored more goals. They missed number of easy chance and lack of penetration in front of net is a problem they need to sort out before they head for bigger challenges.
