Chelsea and Real Madrid have agreed a fee of £130m for Eden Hazard. The initial fee is around £88m but the full value of the deal is much higher and will be viewed as another big win for director Marina Granovskaia.
Real were reluctant to pay more than £88m for a player who would have been available for free at the end of next season.
But Chelsea have driven a hard bargain and could now net as much as £130m with achievable add-ons inserted into the agreement.
The 28-year-old, who has only one year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge, admitted following the Europa League final that it is going to be good bye for him.
Hazard is currently away on international duty with Belgium but with personal terms and a medical a formality he could be unveiled as a Real player as early as next week.
