Gantamulla, Baramulla, May 15: In the ongoing Barrage Super Cup Gantamulla, Narvaw Hunters defeated Shahi Hamdaan Baramulla by a healthy margin of 84 runs.
Batting first, Narvaw posted a competitive total of 161/9 on board in alloted 20 overs. Tahir was the top scorer with 55 runs and Mudasir also added valuable 21 runs. Mehraj Manzoor took 4 wickets for Shahi Hamdaan.
In response, Shahi Hamdaan never looked comfortable in chase as they were bundled out on just 77 runs in 14.2 overs. Rakeeb top scored with 21 runs to his name. For Narvaw, Asim Hussain was the wrecker-in-chief as he bowled an unplayable spell in which he took 4 wickets and conceded only 5 runs in his quota of 4 overs.
Later, Asim Hussain was declared as player of the match for his breathtaking bowling spell.
