Kolkata, Dec 8: All-rounder Aquib Nabi delivered a standout performance to help Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) secure a 13-run win against a strong Madhya Pradesh side in their final league match of the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy 2024 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on Sunday.
Despite the impressive victory, J&K narrowly missed out on a knockout berth due to an inferior net run rate.

Aquib Nabi top-scored with a quick and crucial 32 off 21 balls, smashing 2 fours and 3 sixes.
Abdul Samad added 27, while Yudhvir Singh chipped in with a brisk 18 off 12 balls.
Captain Shubham Khajuria and Lone Nasir Muzaffar contributed 14 runs each.
For Madhya Pradesh, Tripuresh Singh was the most successful bowler with 3 wickets, while Mohd Arshad Khan and Shivam Shukla picked up two each.

Chasing 151, Madhya Pradesh were restricted to 137, falling 13 runs short.
