Srinagar: Pakistan star batter Babar Azam’s 2023 season ended on a horrid note as he was clean bowled by Josh Hazlewood in the second inning of Boxing Day Test at MCG vs Australia on Friday.
Babar Azam got out in a similar fashion to his first inning dismissal vs Pat Cummins as he saw his stumps shattered in the both innings.
Azam was cleaned up with a beauty by Josh Hazlewood in the second innings after scoring 41 runs.
During the first innings, Babar was dismissed by Pat Cummins after scoring just one run as the right-handed batter misjudged the ball and ended up getting bowled.
The former Pakistan captain is not having good outing in Australia as in the first Test, he amassed only 21 and 14 runs.
